Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how LuckyClash (accessible at luckyclash.io, hereinafter “LuckyClash”, “We” or “Us”) handles the personal data we collect when you create an account, use our website and games, or otherwise interact with us. It covers our website and any pages, sub-domains or applications operated under the LuckyClash brand. Keeping your data safe and using it responsibly is something we take seriously, and we handle it in line with applicable data-protection law.

1. Using the website

By using LuckyClash you accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. We may revisit and update this policy from time to time at our discretion, and any change becomes effective the moment it is published on the website. If you keep using LuckyClash after an update is posted, that continued use counts as acceptance of the revised policy. This policy does not extend to third-party websites that we link to but do not control.

2. What data we collect

Depending on how you use LuckyClash, the personal data we may collect includes:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Preferences you choose to share with us
  • Date of birth
  • Country of citizenship
  • Physical address
  • An identification number
  • Government-issued identification
  • Location data
  • Device information
  • IP address

We collect this information mainly through:

  • The details you enter while registering and managing your account;
  • Your communications and support conversations with us.

3. Why we collect it

We only gather your personal data by lawful and fair means, and never in an intrusive way. We use it to run our service and, in particular, to:

  • Verify your identity for Know-Your-Customer (KYC) checks;
  • Send you marketing communications, where you have chosen to receive them;
  • Process your application to open an account on LuckyClash or any of its sub-domains;
  • Provide our services and keep improving them for you;
  • Authenticate you and keep your account secure, and meet our legal obligations;
  • Maintain and administer your account;
  • Tailor and enhance your experience, including through market research and promotions;
  • Let you know about products or services we think may interest you, via email, SMS or phone;
  • Produce aggregated, statistical insights about our players to run our business more efficiently;
  • Respond to your questions, comments and requests;
  • Determine any applicable tax liability;
  • Meet our contractual, legal and statutory obligations;
  • Act appropriately where we suspect unlawful activity or serious misconduct connected to our service;
  • Establish, exercise or defend legal claims;
  • Handle job applications.

If you choose not to provide the information we ask for, we may be unable to open your account, deliver our services, or respond to your enquiry or complaint. By using LuckyClash and providing your data, you consent to us collecting, using, processing and — where necessary — disclosing it for the purposes and on the bases described here.

4. Marketing and opting out

From time to time we may use your data to tell you about products, services or promotions we believe you may find useful, by email, SMS, phone or post. You can opt out at any time by emailing support@luckyclash.io, and we will action your request as soon as is practical.

Separately, we may need to contact you about the management and administration of your account. These service messages are unrelated to marketing and are sent regardless of your marketing opt-in or opt-out status.

5. How we manage your data

We take all reasonable steps to keep the personal data we hold accurate and to store it in a secure environment accessible only by authorised people. We retain the data we collect for as long as you use our services, or for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes it was collected for — including providing the service, resolving disputes, establishing legal defences, conducting audits, enforcing our agreements and complying with the law.

When your personal data is no longer required for any permitted purpose, including our legal and operational obligations, we will securely delete it or permanently de-identify it.

6. Security

No transmission of data over the internet is ever completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us — anything you transmit is sent at your own risk. Once we receive it, however, we take reasonable steps to protect your data from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, alteration or disclosure, including password-protected systems and encryption in transit. By using our services you agree that we may contact you electronically about security, privacy and administrative matters.

Our staff, agents and contractors are required to keep players’ personal data and activity confidential. Anything you post publicly — for example on social media or in chat — becomes public information whose security we cannot guarantee.

We are committed to keeping minors away from our services and will not knowingly accept their information or open an account for them. Ultimately, it is the responsibility of parents and guardians to supervise children’s internet use, including with screening software where appropriate.

Always log out when you finish, especially on a shared device, and keep your username and password confidential — you are responsible for the security of the devices you use and for safeguarding your account credentials.

7. Accessing your data

You can review much of your personal data via the Settings area of the website, or by contacting us at support@luckyclash.io. We will provide access in the way you ask where that is possible and within a reasonable period. In limited circumstances — for example where doing so would unreasonably affect another person’s privacy — we may be unable to grant access in the form requested; if we refuse, we will explain why in writing and set out the complaint options available to you.

8. Deleting your data

You can ask us to delete your personal data where we no longer have a legal reason to keep processing or storing it. Please note this right is not absolute: we may be unable to comply where we are under a legal obligation to retain your data. To make a request, email support@luckyclash.io.

9. Contact

For any questions, access or correction requests, or complaints about how we handle your personal data, contact us at support@luckyclash.io or through the live support chat on the site.

10. International data transfers

The data we process may be transferred to, processed in and stored anywhere in the world, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from those where you live. Wherever your data goes, we work to safeguard it in a manner consistent with applicable law.

11. Legal bases for processing

For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation, our processing of your personal data relies on the following lawful bases:

  • Performance of a contract — where we need to process your data to deliver our service to you;
  • Legitimate interests — where processing serves our legitimate interests and is not overridden by your interests, rights or freedoms;
  • Consent — where, in certain cases, we rely on the consent you have given;
  • Legal obligations — where processing is necessary for us to comply with the law.

12. Supervisory authority

If you are in the European Economic Area and believe our handling of your personal data breaches applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

13. Updates to this policy

We may review and update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect our current practices and obligations. The latest version will always be published on luckyclash.io and takes effect as soon as it is posted. We encourage you to check back regularly and stay familiar with its terms.
